Overview
Our family residential support programme Croi Nua, which developed out of a desire expressed by parents and concerned persons for assistance in their lives, dealing with life issues and living with chemical abuse within the family.
In response we are now offering a residential respite programme which consists of one to one counselling, group work, art therapy, and education regarding chemical use, massage, nurturing, and time-out in a peaceful and tranquil setting to renew body, mind and spirit.
We recognise that there are many support groups doing excellent work with parents and families, respite could compliment their work as we recognise the pain and stress families experience, empowering them to move through the phases of recovering – victim, carer to giving back to the community and recovery.
Croi Nua is a four-bedroomed bungalow on the grounds of the Aislinn Centre. Each bedroom sleeps two and all rooms are ensuite, all meals are provided the only thing you need to bring with you are comfortable clothes, toiletries and an open mind. The cost can be paid on arrival or by direct debit, just speak to the administrator.
