Overview
Adolescents are struggling to form their identity package. Adolescents are on a journey searching for the answer to the question; Who am I? Their job is to experiment, push boundaries, ask questions and search out possible answers.

Confusion and indecision reign supreme for the Adolescents. They are full of doubts and questions. Am I ok? Do people like me?
For many adolescents the interruption of alcohol and drugs occurs. Many manage this with help from friends, family, teacher or counsellor. For others they become dependent and their life turns into chaos, as does often their families. A dependent Adolescent is full of fear, dejected, lifeless, scared, rejected, crying inside, vulnerable and screaming out for help. They need us to be their voice at this time. It's important then to differentiate the person from the behaviour and not to get sucked into the label game. It's time to see them as people not statistics.
